Asset identification and proof of true ownership are becoming vitally important
in today's world where identity and personal theft rates are ever increasing. However, of greater concern
is law enforcement officials and owners alike are unable to accurately identify and return assets once
stolen as there is no way to match a recovered item to the owner. State Governments regularly auction

Unlike older programs such as engraving, UV pen marking or applying
a paper warning sticker, MightyDot has introduced a system in which tiny Dots, each the size of a grain
of sand, are laser etched with a unique number for each owner or asset. Each asset can then be quickly
and easily marked multiple times with its own unique identification number. This unique number is then
registered on a nationwide database for police to access when item are stolen and then recovered.

In a recovery process, Law Enforcement only have to find one dot using
a simple 30x magnifier to prove ownership and return the item. For a thief, this one dot can prove that
the item is in fact stolen and hence traceable by police thus leading to a very high chance of conviction.
The MightyDots make the asset "too hot to handle" for thieves.
The MightyDot system is rapidly spreading world-wide and has been adopted
